British IBM i specialist Proximity has signed a deal with America’s Raz-Lee Security.

Proximity, which has offices in Leeds and Nottingham, will market and support Raz-Lee’s iSecurity suite of 15 products in the UK and Ireland. Proximity will provide implementation, configuration and assessment as part of the partnership.

Raz-Lee’s iSecurity software suite includes tools to protect network access, monitor system activities and manage user-profiles on the i. Its application security solutions audit and analyse database activity and provide alerts when data changes. iSecurity has full multi-LPAR management capabilities and operates in both green screen and GUI modes.

Dave Pickburn, director at Proximity, says: “Their suite of IBM i security products are industry-leading and the partnership further strengthens our core business offering around development, modernisation and mobilisation of IBM i applications.”

Pickburn says that, strategically, the partnership with Raz-Lee complements Proximity’s distribution agreement with U.S. modernisation big-hitter BCD Software for the UK and Ireland. Proximity is also the only accredited partner in the UK for Infor LX and BPCS.
